The coating of materials' external surface through Physical Vacuum Deposition (PVD) brings new interesting functionalities for steel. 
A transparent layer of titanium dioxide is thus applied when a pre-painted steel is manufactured conferring hydrophilic properties to the surface.
The resulting products show outstanding anti-soiling and easy-clean behaviour, which durably maintains the initial appeal of the buildings and the pre-painted outdoor elements.
