Luminance® Matt

This composite material with PVD coating consists of multiple layers designed to significantly enhance reflectivity.

Luminance® is an alternative to anodized aluminium.

 

Technical specifications

  • Total reflectivity: 85% (82% in case of protective top coat)
  • Diffuse reflectivity (5°) = 40-65%

 

  • Luminance® is totally iridescence-free (no coloration in respect of the angle of reflection)
  • Luminance® creates no anisotropy (the product exhibits the same visual properties in all directions)

 

  • The reflector is compatible with most lighting production tools
  • The product can tolerate a large range of deformation: bending, profiling or die-forming

 

  • Luminance® is environmental friendly:
    • Luminance® is easily and fully recyclable
    • The material complies with the RoHS (Restriction of use of Hazardous Substances) directive
    • Life Cycle Assessment (ref. CO2 emission and energy used during production and end-of-life product processing).
